PASADENA, Md. (WMAR) — Anne Arundel County Police say a Pasadena man fired multiple gunshots and barricaded himself into a home after an argument with a neighbor Friday.
It happened around 10:20 p.m. in the 7700 block of of Sauerbacker Avenue.
When officers got to the scene, the alleged shooter had already gone back into his home.
Police learned there was a verbal altercation between the suspect and a neighbor, which resulted in the suspect coming outside and firing three shots into the ground.
The Special Operations Section was called and negotiated with the suspect.
After some time, the suspect identified as Thomas William Cregon, 36, surrendered and came out of the home without further incident.
He's charged with first and second degree assault, and discharging a firearm within 100 yards of a residence.
Online court records show Cregon was released Sunday on his own recognizance.
