LINTHICUM, Md. — Anne Arundel County Police have arrested and charged the suspect that burglarized two Linthicum businesses.
On Thursday, at approximately 10:45 p.m., officers got a call for a commercial burglary in the 400 block of Camp Meade Road. Anne Arundel County Fire Department personnel saw a man burglarize the Exxon gas station in the 400 block of South Camp Meade Road. Officers arrived just as the suspect was leaving the gas station and placed him in custody.
After doing some investigating, detectives found out that the suspect had also burglarized the Luncheteria that's also in the 400 block of South Camp Meade Road and was found to be in possession of some stolen property from both businesses.
The suspect, 65-year-old Richard Murray, of Baltimore, was transported to central booking.
He was also served on an outstanding arrest warrant through Baltimore City for burglary and is being charged with the following:
- Burglary - 2nd Degree / General (2 counts)
- Burglary - 4th Degree-Store
- Theft - $100 To Under $1500
