ANNAPOLIS, Md. — An arrest has been made in the murder of Annapolis rapper Edward Montre Seay.
Late Thursday night, Annapolis police announced the arrest of 30-year-old James Esau Davis III of Baltimore.
Online court records show a warrant was issued on June 17.

Seay, who went by the name 'Tre Da Kid,' was found shot to death inside a crashed car on the night of June 7, in the area of Forest Drive and South Cherry Grove Avenue.
Davis is being held without bond on multiple charges including first and second degree murder pending an initial review.
A bail hearing has been scheduled for Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the District Court for Anne Arundel County in Glen Burnie.
