Maryland Natural Resources Police are investigating an incident involving a dead body that was found in the South River.
Officials report that an initial call came from a boater who told them they saw a body in the water. Marine units were then dispatched to the location where the boater was and they brought the body to shore near the Loch Raven Marina.
Medics pronounced the person dead at the scene.
At this time, police have not identified the person's age and gender.
