A book written by a victim in June's shooting at the Capital Gazette newspaper's headquarters will be released Friday.
The book is called "Float Plan" and was released by Rob Hiaasen.
His widow Maria, Annapolis Mayor Gavin Buckley and two reporters from the paper will speak about the 226-page book.
Proceeds from the sale of the book will go to Everytown for Gun Safety.
"Float Plan" follows a young man who steers himself toward love, forgiveness and happiness.
The book's release at the Eastport-Annapolis Neck Library is set for 7 p.m.
Five people were killed back in June. The shooter, Jarrod Ramos, has been indicted on 23 counts.
