ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, Md. — A citizen was robbed in Glen Burnie and another has an attempted robbery in Odenton over the span of two days.
Anne Arundel County Police say on December 13, at around 9:10 p.m., officers responded to the 1800 block of Scaffold Way in Odenton. The victim, a Lyft driver had completed a ride when one of the suspects indicated another suspect had a gun and demanded the victim's vehicle.
The driver did not comply and fled the scene. Police say no weapon was displayed and that officers responded and searched the area where it occurred but did not find the suspects.
On Saturday, December 14, officers responded to a citizen robbery at around 1 a.m. at 7867 Americana Circle in Glen Burnie.
Police say the victim was walking out to his vehicle when he was approached by a suspect who brandished his weapon and demanded the victim's property.
The victim handed over his property and the suspect fled.
