CROFTON, Md. — Anne Arundel County Police are investigating a robbery at Crofton smoke shop on Saturday.
At 1:50 p.m., officers were called to the scene at the Peace of Crofton store at 1268 Crain Highway. There, the department learned that a man walked into the store to make a small purchase.
That's when the man made his move on the clerk, by spraying the clerk with pepper spray while the cash register was opened. The shop clerk was taken to a hospital for treatment.
