Detectives are searching for two suspects responsible for opening fire on a Severn security officer

SEVERN, Md. — Anne Arundel County Police are searching for two suspects that are responsible for shooting at a security officer.

On Tuesday, officers arrived near the intersection of Meade Village Circle and Meade Village Road for reports of a shooting. At around 7:40 p.m., the victim, who's a private security officer that was assigned to patrol the community of Meade Village, was sitting in his car when two unknown males approached him and opened fire. The security officer was able to get away without any injuries. His vehicle, however, was struck multiple times.

Multiple officers, detectives and other personnel arrived to the scene and found evidence relating to a shooting, but they were unable to find any suspects. They acquired a picture of the suspects and they are described as being two black males who were wearing all black clothing, hoods and gloves.
