ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, Md. — A dog that was stolen from the SPCA of Anne Arundel County has been found.

The SPCA of Anne Arundel County posted on their Facebook page that unknown person(s) broke into the SPCA Friday night, damaging kennels and released multiple dogs.

They originally posted that they found all animals except Maxxi, a sweet Labrador mix who was brought to the shelter for care and adoption.

In an update on Saturday night, the SPCA said they found Maxxi and she is back in the care of the shelter.

The SPCA said damage to the building was substantial and needs extensive repairs.

They believe Maxxi was stolen and were offering a reward for any information that lead to the identification of the person(s) responsible and the successful return of Maxxi.
