Warming shelters will be open in Anne Arundel County Friday night to Saturday morning in response to cold forecasted temperatures.
The National Weather Service says the wind chill is estimated to be around 11 degrees overnight.
The following locations will be open for people who need to keep warm:
- Northern District: 939 Hammonds Lane, Baltimore
- Eastern District: 204 Pasadena Rd, Pasadena
- Western District: 8273 Telegraph Road, Odenton
- Southern District: 35 Stepneys Lane, Edgewater
All centers have water and restrooms, but medical care will not be available. Also, pets are not allowed in the warming shelters, but accommodations can be made for service animals.
