Five paddle boarders are safe after they were rescued from the Severn River on Friday.
Maryland National Resources Police said they started looking for the paddle boarders around 2:30 in the afternoon around the Yanktz Creek and Boone Trail area.

An hour into their search three of the paddle boarders were rescued and safe. Around 4 p.m. all five paddle boarders were rescued and had no injuries.
