GLEN BURNIE, Md. — Anne Arundel County Police detectives are investigating after five people were shot in four separate incidents Tuesday afternoon into Wednesday morning.
The first incident was reported around 4:20 p.m. in the area of Greenbranch Lane and Fruitful Court in Glen Burnie.
A man and three unidentified suspects got into some verbal argument, which led to one of the suspects shooting the victim.
The victim was taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Ten-minutes later, officers were called to Baltimore Washington Medical Center for two men who walked in with gunshot wounds.
Police believe the victims were shot as they were driving in the area of Tall Pines Court and Elvaton Road, less than two miles away from the first shooting.
They drove themselves to the hospital, both are expected to survive.

As the night went on at around 9 p.m., a third shooting was reported in the area of Still Meadows Drive and Parham Court in Severn.
The victim told police he was walking when two unknown men got out of a vehicle and shot him. As the victim ran away, both suspects took off in the car.
Police say the victim's injuries are non-life threatening.

Then around 2:45 am Wednesday, police were dispatched to Harbor Hospital in Baltimore City for a man that came in with a gunshot wound. The victim was unable to give detectives specific details, however they believe it occurred in Glen Burnie.
Police released no possible motive or suspects in any of the cases.
