Officials say they found drugs in a man's car after he was pulled over for a traffic stop.
On Monday, at around 10:30 p.m., Eastern Tactical Patrol Detectives conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of Hidden Brook Drive and Secret Bend. During the stop, detectives discovered that the driver was suspended and that there was drug paraphernalia in plain view. After searching the car, the following items were recovered:
- 4.09 grams of powdered cocaine
- 1.28 grams of powdered cocaine
- .084 grams of powdered cocaine
- Digital scale with cocaine residue on it
- Silver spoon with cocaine residue on it
- 64 unused zip-locked baggies
- $850.00 U.S. currency. (seized)
The suspect, who has been identified as 32-year-old Alexander Stafford III, of Glen Burnie, has been charged with traffic charges, possession of CDS and possession of CDS with intent to distribute.
