GLEN BURNIE, Md. — An investigation is underway after a gunshot was fired into Baltimore Washington Medical Center overnight Monday.
Police responded around 4:30 a.m., and discovered a bullet lodged in the wall of a room on the 7th floor of the hospital.
While it's unclear what caliber gun the bullet was fired from, police know it came through a window that was shattered.
Luckily the room was unoccupied at the time of the incident, and no one was hurt.
So far police haven't found any suspects or motive in the case.
