As the American Idol bus sits prominently in the Annapolis Mall parking lot, hundreds who had been in line since the middle of the night, lined up for their very own chance at stardom.
Melissa Elfar is a producer for American Idol and is helping weed out the stars from the flops. She says they didn't see too many flops today. E
lfar had advice for those trying out, "put some passion into it, put some excitement, show us you really want this. We are looking for the next American Idol."
Previous American Idol entertainers haven't done too bad. Past winners have taken home 13 Grammy's and sold more than 60 million albums.
