CHURCHTON, Md. — Jesse worked at Mamma’s on the Half Shell, Nacho Mamma’s and Regis. He met and married an Army brat by the name of Jayleen.
After a few sips one night, they decided to open a restaurant. Let’s call it Jesse Jays and we will put it in Churchton, way down deep in Anne Arundel County. Lets have Latin twist.
After all, there isn’t a restaurant serving Latin flavor like this is about 7000 miles.
Opening Day was glorious, big crowd on May 8, Then 2020 happened.
All those crowds. All those feel good moments. Where are the masks? Just when you think there is no way this place can survive. They are! Why? Because they knew the only way to feed the community was to love their community.
Get involved. Be friendly. Meet the town folk. Put margarita’s to go in a steel cup.
Suddenly what looked like gloom and doom has Jesse and Jayleen looking like the found the perfect place at the perfect time.
