ANNAPOLIS, Md. — Police said a juvenile was arrested and charged for allegedly stabbing a man over the weekend in Annapolis.
On August 17 at 5:14 a.m., officers responded to the 1300 block of Tyler Avenue for reports of a possible stabbing. On the scene, they found a 20-year-old man suffering from multiple apparent stab wounds.
The victim was taken to an area hospital for treatment. According to Police, he initially appeared to have non-life threatening injuries. He was later reported with serious injuries.
Investigators learned the stabbing happened in the 1400 block of Tyler Avenue. After receiving tips from multiple sources, a juvenile boy was identified as the suspect. The next day, he was arrested and charged on a juvenile citation with attempted first and second degree murder and first and second degree assault.
