ANNAPOLIS, Md. — The Friends of Anne Arundel County Animal Care & Control took their frustration to Facebook to expose a man they say is responsible for stealing a donation jar meant to help homeless pets.

The organization says the little donation boxes placed in stores around Anne Arundel County are used to raise money to save the lives of homeless animals at their shelter.

They say the specific box that was stolen was shoplifted from H & B Fuller Wine and Spirits on Bestgate Road in Annapolis. The business has since posted a sign with surveillance pictures of the alleged shoplifter that says, "Shoplifters are not allowed in this store!"

AACO Animal Care & Control ended their post with a thank you message to H & B Fuller Wine and Spirits for their support and concluded their statement with one final message.

"Shame on you to that one bad apple."
