BROOKLYN, Md. — Following a night where five people were shot, Anne Arundel County Police are now investigating after a wounded man was found inside a hotel.
At around 7:40 p.m. the victim was discovered suffering from gunshot wounds in the stairwell of the Comfort Inn & Suites on Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard.
The victim was taken to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Details on what led up to the incident are limited. Police released no possible suspects or motive in the case.

The victim is the sixth person shot in just over the last 24 hours in Anne Arundel County.
Police haven't made any arrests in those incidents.
