DAVIDSONVILLE, Md. — A 59-year-old man was taken to Shock Trauma after flipping a golf cart at a nudist resort in Davidsonville.
It happened Saturday, around 5:24 p.m. at the Maryland Health Society, which describes itself as the oldest non-profit clothing optional health resort and campground in the United States.
Anne Arundel County Fire Crews responded and found that the man had been riding an over-sized golf cart in the woods of the property, when he crashed into a tree and flipped.
The man was able to turn the golf cart back over and make it back to the community area of the resort to be treated by medics.
Officials say the man suffered serious injuries but is expected to survive.
It's unclear how the golf cart struck a tree.
