ANNAPOLIS, Md. — The Annapolis Police Department says a man was stabbed Thursday morning after he tried to break up a fight.
At 12:54 a.m., officers arrived to the 1100 block of Madison Street for a report of a stabbing. When they arrived, the adult male victim told police that he had been stabbed in the back.
He also said that he was outside when a fight broke out and tried to step in to break it up, but was assaulted by an unknown suspect.
He was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
