LAUREL, Md. (WMAR) — Anne Arundel County Police say a 47-year-old man was stabbed while trying to break up a fight between several juveniles.
It happened around 9 p.m. Sunday around the Walmart and Sam's Club on Russett Green East in Laurel.
Police weren't made aware until after midnight on Monday, when the 47-year-old victim took himself to the hospital and reported the incident.
The victim told police he saw five or six kids fighting and tried to intervene. But when he did, he was stabbed in the abdomen.
All the kids then fled the scene. They're said to be between 12 and 14-years-old.
