The Whitehurst neighborhood in Severna Park, Anne Arundel County has been ranked the Nicest Place in Maryland, and now it's a finalist for the Reader Digest's Nicest Place in America competition.
The neighborhood is apparently hard to leave since generations of families have lived there ,and they continue to sell their homes to the next generation.
People in the neighborhood also say they're there for each other when the worst circumstances take place.
