The Nextival in Annapolis is a weekend celebration that’s giving back to the victims families of the Capital Gazette families.
The three day music and food truck festival at the Anne Arundel County Fairgrounds kicked runs from July 13-15.
There is plenty of great food and local music, and lots of kid friendly things to do like a LEGO racing area, inflatable rock climbing and pony rides.
Billy Zero, the organizer, said that first responders, military, veterans and there families can get in for free.
“We owe those people our lives and the same with the first responders that came to the Capital Gazette shooting,” Zero said. “They got there within 60 seconds that’s amazing we all owe them.
All of the proceeds go to the Capital Gazette Families Fund, Annapolis Musicians Fund for Musicians, Inc. and Juice Box Jams.
New this year you can camp out at the fairgrounds-- tickets are still available.
The event ends Sunday at 5 pm.
