ANNAPOLIS, Md. — One person had to be flown to a hospital after they were involved in crash that led to a car fire in Annapolis Friday morning.
Anne Arundel County Police say the crash happened around 2:30 a.m. on Rowe Boulevard near the Route 50 overpass. The say the driver hit a retaining wall, ejecting them from the car.
The SUV was fully engulfed in flames when crews got to the scene. No other people were in the car other than the driver, who was flown to Shock Trauma.
No other injuries were reported.
Because of the crash those roads were closed while crews reconstruct the accident.
