GAMBRILLS, Md. — An Owings Mills man was arrested Monday after he allegedly impersonated a federal agent at a Wegmans in Gambrills.

It happened around 2 p.m., when someone notified an off-duty Anne Arundel County Police officer that someone inside the store may have brandished a gun to an employee.

Responding on-duty officers later found the man in question on the parking lot. He was identified Kenneth Dion Postell.

He allegedly told told police he was a federal law enforcement officer, which was found to not be true.

As officers were investigating, Postell became agitated and began shouting loudly, catching the attention of store workers and customers.

Police found a replica “Airsoft” pistol from Postell's backpack. He was arrested and charged.

It's unclear if Postell ever did pull the gun on an employee.
