Oyster boat, pickup truck set on fire in Annapolis during Fathers Day

ANNAPOLIS, Md. — Investigators are looking for leads in two separate arson fires that took place on Fathers Day in Annapolis.

At around 5:49 a.m., crews were dispatched to the 700 block of Second Street for an oyster boat on fire.

The fire was quickly extinguished, but found to have been purposely set.

Hours later just before 11 a.m., a vehicle caught on fire in the 2000 block of West Street.

After putting out the fire, it was determined someone intentionally set it.

No suspects or motive has been identified in any of the three cases.
