SEVERN, Md. — A 21-year-old Odenton man was arrested Tuesday night after he allegedly crashed into a police car and was found to be in possession of a gun.
Anne Arundel County officers were patrolling the Stillmeadows Community in Severn when they saw a vehicle being driven erratically near Jacobs Road.
Police say the driver tried fleeing, but lost control and struck the officer's car. Officers then reported seeing him reach under his seat, and found a loaded Taurus handgun.
The driver, Brenton Bradley Josiah Fairnot, was arrested and charged with multiple gun crimes.
