GLEN BURNIE, Md. (WMAR) — Maryland State Police think rain and fog caused an early morning chain reaction crash that involved 11 vehicles in Anne Arundel County.
Two cars collided just before 6:30 a.m. on the westbound side of I-695 near 295. Moments later three cars ran into each other while trying to slow down for the first crash. That caused two more crashes with several other vehicles.
Luckily only two people were hurt and had to be taken to a hospital. Everyone else remained on scene.
