Three Severn residents were displaced from their home following a fire that broke out shortly after noon Thursday, the Anne Arundel County Fire Department said.
Firefighters responded to the blaze at a single family ranch house in the 500 block of Donaldson Avenue at about 12:45 p.m. The flames were under control in about 20 minutes. One man was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The fire is under investigation.
Police closed Donaldson Avenue between Walnut Grove and Quarterfield Road as firefighters worked.
