GLEN BURNIE, Md. (WMAR) — For the second time in a little over 24-hours, a Glen Burnie 7-Eleven was robbed.

The latest happened on Valentines Day just before 5 a.m. on Old Mill Road.

Police say a masked suspect about six-feet tall entered the store, implying that he had a weapon and demanded money from the cashier.

The clerk gave up the cash and the suspect fled.

Officers searched around but were unable to find him.

The incident comes just a day after another holdup at the same store.

Thursday's robbery happened overnight around 2:20 a.m.

A suspect entered the store with a tire iron and confronted the store employee.

The suspect demanded cash and property, but was only able to get store merchandise before running off.

Right now detectives believe the robberies are coincidental and not related.

No arrests have been made in either case.
