Kenny Elgert will go in Severna Park High School's hall of fame, but not for being a player, but for being the school's #1 fan.
Elgert was non-verbal, but the Anne Arundel First Alert page said he went to all of the Falcon's games, no matter the distance.
In September 2012, Elgert was diagnosed with a brain tumor. After getting it removed, he underwent 33 chemotherapy treatments and was deemed cancer free in April 2013, according to Anne Arundel First Alert.
The cause of Elgert's death is unknown at this time, but WMAR-2 News anchor Jaime Costello says he died on a family cruise.
