Disappointment from Speaker Mike Busch and President of the Senate Mike Miller.

They sent a joint letter to President Donald Trump, as well as house and senate leaders, asking that they work together to avoid a government shutdown.

Governor Larry Hogan sent a message as well saying "stop the finger-pointing and do your jobs."

State leaders say if a shutdown does happen there is no state money put aside to offset the impact to Marylanders.
