Suspect arrested for 7-Eleven robbery; returned days after committing the crime

PASADENA, Md. — Suspect responsible for robbing a 7-Eleven is arrested after returning to the convenience store days later.

On Sunday, at around 12:50 a.m., officers responded for a robbery at the 7-Eleven that's located at 8930 Fort Smallwood Road in Pasadena. An unknown male suspect entered the store and held a screwdriver against the back of the store clerk and demanded cash from the register.

The clerk complied and the suspect fled with an undetermined amount of cash. Officers arrived and searched the area, but were unable to locate the suspect.

No injuries were reported as a result of this incident.

However, on Thursday, at around 3:15 a.m., the suspect returned to the store. Responding officers located the suspect, 39-year-old Brian Eugene Grimes, of Pasadena, walking along Hog Neck Road.

After a brief pursuit, Grimes was apprehended. Following the arrest, the store clerk positively Grimes, who was then taken into custody and charged.
