ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY — On Wednesday, at around 12:25 a.m., Anne Arundel County Police were dispatched to a prowler complaint in the 100 block of 10th Avenue.
The 911 caller heard noise outside his home and the sound of glass breaking. The 911 operator heard a struggle over the phone and the line disconnected.
Several officers responded and saw four suspects running from the back alley of the home.
Officers also found the side door of the residence to be unsecured with a broken lock. Upon entering, officers located a 32 year old semi-conscious man lying on the floor with bruises to his face and body. He was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Authorities arrested three of four suspects allegedly involved: 29-year-old Destiny Daine Riffle of Crownsville, 22-year-old Taijanique Lashawn Scott, and 26-year-old Randy Joshua Watts, both of Arnold.
They're now facing a litany of charges including first and second degree assault , first and second degree burglary, home invasion, and reckless endangerment.
