President Trump rejected a request from Annapolis Mayor Gavin Buckley.
He asked Trump to order all American flags across the country to be lowered to honor the five people killed at the Capital Gazette Newspaper.
Buckley learned of the decision Monday afternoon.
No word on why the president rejected the request.
