Six adults and two children were displaced July 4th after a fire broke out along a trio of town homes.
Anne Arundel County Fire officials say the incident took place in the 1600 block of Wood Tree Court in Arnold.
Approximately 70 firefighters from multiple jurisdictions battled the blaze.
A preliminary investigation suggests flames originated from the deck of one home and quickly spread to the inside of the residence and two adjacent dwellings.
One occupant suffered a minor burn and refused transport to a hospital. A Naval Academy firefighter was hospitalized for a heat related matter.
Between all three houses, the State Fire Marshall estimated a total of $270,000 in structure damage.
The cause remains under investigation.
