JESSUP, Md. (WMAR) — Two men were taken to Shock Trauma Sunday following an assault at the Maryland Correctional Institution in Jessup.
Medics were called around 11:29 a.m. Sunday for a reported stabbing at the location.
Anne Arundel County Fire officials believe both men, ages 26 and 29 were inmates at the facility, but were unable to confirm if they were stabbed.
Their injuries are considered serious but not life threatening.
It's unclear what led to the assault and if any weapons were used.
