Two 12-year-old middle school students are hospitalized after a falling accident.
Anne Arundel County Fire officials say the incident happened at around 3:15 p.m. at Lindale Middle School in Linthicum.
A preliminary investigation revealed one female student fell approximately 45 feet from a catwalk inside the auditorium through a drop ceiling, on to another female student.
The fallen student was flown to Johns Hopkins Hospital with serious injuries. The second student was also transported to Johns Hopkins Hospital with possible serious injuries.
It is unclear what caused the fall.
