ANNAPOLIS, Md. — Two teens were arrested by Annapolis Police and charged after an armed robbery over the weekend.
Police say a man was inside an apartment in the area of the 200-299 block Farragut Court on Saturday when he was assaulted by a group of men. That's when the victim was threatened with a knife and beaten up.
Following the assault, a few suspects took the victim's keys and stole his vehicle.
Some of the suspects stayed in the apartment with the victim, but he managed to escape and run to a near by business where he called 9-1-1.
Police said officers quickly found suspects driving the stolen vehicle on Spa Road.
The suspects were identified as 18-year-old Anthony Espinoza of Capitol Heights and 16-year-old Jose Escobar Flores of Annapolis. They are being charged with armed robbery, robbery, first and second degree assault and seven other criminal charges.
Both are being held at the Jennifer Road Detention Center without bond.
