A water warning has been issued in Glen Burnie, the Anne Arundel County Department of Health said Wednesday.
The warning is for Cabin Branch, an offshoot of Curtis Creek. Approximately 5,800 gallons of sewage spilled from a broken bypass on Cedar Road. The spill began Sept. 24 and lasted overnight. It was assessed by the Department of Health Sept. 25, Tuesday.
The warning applies to any direct contact with water from Cabin Creek, and it extends from the Cedar Avenue discharge site to Curtis Creek. The warning will remain in effect through Oct. 2. If you come in contact with this water, wash well with soap and water, and wash whatever clothes you wore.
