ANNAPOLIS, Md. (WMAR) — The widow of a reporter killed during the June 2018 mass shooting at the Capital Gazette will be signing copies of his newly released book on Saturday in Annapolis.
When he was killed, John McNamara was in the midst of completing his first book titled, The Capital of Basketball: A history of DC Area High School Hoops.
Like her husband, Andrea Chamblee is also a veteran local sports reporter.
Not only did Chamblee coauthor the book, but she helped to finally get it published following her husband's death.
Chamblee will be at the Barnes and Noble at 2516 Solomons Island Road beginning at 11 a.m.
