OVERLEA — A 12-inch water main break has left 80 customers without water and a portion of Belair Road closed Monday evening.
Baltimore DPW says the stretch of road between Taylor Avenue and Northern Parkway has been shut down to allow for repairs.

Officials say the actual broken main is at the intersection of Belair Road and Fullerton Avenue.
DPW is recommending that drivers use alternate routes of travel in the meantime.
It's unclear when water service will be restored. There's no word on how long repairs will take, and when the roads will be re-opened.
All day Monday, crews have also been dealing with a significant water main break in the 11000 York Road. Officials say they expect closures there to last until Tuesday morning.
