150 local organizations and 2,000 volunteers aid the homeless at Baltimore Convention Center

The United Way of Central Maryland is hosting their Sixth Annual Project Homeless Connect this Thursday and has organized the help from 150 local organizations and 2,000 volunteers.

This event aids to help people facing homelessness in Baltimore City and its surrounding areas.

Project Homeless Connect will help provide dental services, medical exams, haircuts, legal advice, identification, food and more.

The event will be held from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm this Thursday and Friday at the Baltimore Convention Center.
