BALTIMORE — Police have arrested a teen involved in an aggravated assault last week in the Downtown Baltimore.

At 1:35 p.m., officers were notified about a disturbance involving young people with squeegees in the 200 block of W. Conway Street. Once on scene, a 35-year old woman told police she had just been assaulted.

Investigators believe the woman was stopped in traffic when her vehicle was approached by a group of individuals with squeegees.

The victim told the individuals she did not want her window cleaned and attempted to drive away. As she drove off, one of the individuals broke her rear window.

The victim got out of her vehicle in an attempt to photograph the group. The victim told officers that the suspect got onto a scooter and ran into her. The suspect then left the location before officers arrived.

She was taken to an area hospital for treatment.

During the course of the investigation, detectives identified 18 year-old Jaheem Burrows as the suspect in this case.

He was arrested on Monday. Burrows is charged with first and second degree assault, destruction of property, and is currently at Central Booking waiting to see a court commissioner.
