18-year-old injured after being shot in Southwest Baltimore

BALTIMORE — An 18-year-old was shot in Southwest Baltimore.

On Sunday, at about 12:25 p.m., Southwest District officers heard gunfire in the area of Wilkens Avenue.

Officers responded to the 2100 block of Wilkens Avenue to investigate further.

When they arrived on scene, they found a 18 year-old victim that was suffering from gunshot wounds.

Southwest Detectives were called to the scene and assumed control over the investigation.
