BALTIMORE — Police are investigating a shooting that left a teen injured in West Baltimore.

At 6:58am, officers responded to shooting in the 800 block of W. Lexington Street. On the scene, officers found a 19-year old man with a gunshot wound to his leg.

He was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

Baltimore Police said the incident is being investigated as a self inflicted shooting.
