20-year-old man dies after being ejected from car on Wednesday in Northwest Baltimore

BALTIMORE — Detectives from the Baltimore Police CRASH Team are investigating a fatal crash that occurred on Wednesday.

At approximately 11:50 p.m., a 2008 Acura sedan was traveling southbound in the 3900 block of Liberty Heights Avenue when the driver lost control and struck a pole.

The driver suffered non-life threatening injuries, but, the passenger, a 20-year-old man, was ejected from the car and died at the scene.

A second vehicle was struck by debris from the initial crash and the driver was also transported to the hospital for treatment.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
