BALTIMORE — 200 turkeys were given away on Thursday at Divine Light, a substance abuse center in Baltimore.
The turkeys were given to their clients and family, paid for by a private donor.
"To be grateful in life itself and the rapport I have around here with the staff and the clients is just so unimaginable. this place has helped my save my life," said Terry Wells.
Thursday's feast was a big success, but Divine Light is not finished. They will be giving away 150 turkeys for Thanksgiving as well.
