BALTIMORE — A 22-year-old has been arrested and charged with four counts of attempted murder after shooting at a family inside their home.

On June 10, a home in the 4800 block of Melbourne Road was burglarized and the family's vehicle was stolen.

A short time later the suspect, 22-year-old Tyree Fong, who is the boyfriend of one of the victims, returned while the family was in the back of the location.

At that time, Fong fired a gun at the family. No one was hit by gunfire as the family was able to escape inside the home. Fong then fled on foot.

Detectives from BPD's Domestic Violence Unit investigated the incident and obtained an arrest warrant for Fong.

On Monday, members of the Warrant Task Force tracked and arrested him at a home in Parkville.

Fong was taken to Central Booking where he has been charged with four counts of 1st and 2nd Degree Murder, four counts of 1st and 2nd Degree Assault, Burglary, Stolen Auto and various handgun violations.

He remains at Central Booking where he is being held without bail.

While being taken into custody in Baltimore County, Fong was found to be in possession of a loaded semi-automatic handgun as well as suspected heroin and cocaine.

He will be formally charged by the Baltimore County Police Department for the aforementioned seized property.
